Central Ohio Youth for Christ (COYFC)
offers a marriage
and family counseling program called WellSpring Counseling. COYFC
has been in existence since 1981, and WellSpring was developed by
COYFC in 1992. WellSpring provided 6,030 counseling sessions to clients
in central Ohio last year and provided $187,000 of scholarships to
needy clients. In addition to clinical service provision, WellSpring
has been a regular provider of marital, premarital and parenting
workshops (150 seminars/workshops over the last five years) and has
built a service delivery collaboration with 21 partnering churches
where satellite offices of WellSpring exist. Through these activities,
WellSpring has built a solid reputation within the faith-based community
of Christian churches and counseling centers in central Ohio.

Columbus
Marriage Coalition (CMC)
CMC has been
in existence since 2002 and from its inception garnered the enthusiastic
support of business, government, education, community and faith-based
organizations and leaders. Board members and advisory team
members include nationally recognized marriage and relationship specialists,
educators, developers, researchers, and authors. In order to benefit
families, the workplace, and the community, the Columbus Marriage
Coalition encourages healthy marriages through education and advocacy.

Pregnancy Decision Health Centers (PDHC)
Through six client offices, a 24-hour hotline and HEART post-abortion
support and healing groups, PDHC serves approximately 21,000 women
and men annually. Client office services include free pregnancy
testing, consultation, pregnancy and adoption information, pre- and
post-abortion support and counseling and material aid. PDHC also
provides Abstinence Education Programming for schools, churches, and
community centers. PDHC staff train and equip teachers and youth
leaders from those community organizations to deliver the video version
of Healthy Choices abstinence education curriculum, the curriculum
PDHC developed and delivered in schools to over 30,000 youth from 2001-2004. The
Heritage Foundation review of National Center for Health Statistics
data from the National Survey of Family Growth show that saving sex
for marriage by adolescents leads to greater marital stability as young
adults. Through abstinence education, youth not only avoid the
negative consequences of disease and teen pregnancy, their growth toward
succeeding as a marriage partner is enhanced.

CHOICES
Dedicated to eliminating the cycle of domestic violence
through intervention, support and advocacy, CHOICES provides a collection
of services including a 24 hour hotline, temporary shelter, legal
support, advocacy, counseling, community education and training.
CHOICES also provides specialized programming for underserved and
